Kingshot Blizzard Brawl Guide: Best Strategy, Buildings and Airdrops
Master Kingshot’s new 10-player Blizzard Brawl. Learn the exact match timeline, building values, airdrop tactics, matchmaking choices, and how to use all six attempts.
Blizzard Brawl is a 10-player free-for-all, but winning is not simply about defeating the most Governors. The published rules award Blizzard Points for capturing buildings and collecting supplies. Combat is valuable when it helps you control those objectives or prevents another player from scoring.
Quick answer: Prioritize first control, protect a reliable source of building income, and keep marches available for the supply waves. Contest the Vault of Valor when you can realistically hold it; otherwise, secure camps and collect crates instead of feeding troops into an unwinnable fight.

The most important scoring rule
The rules describe Blizzard Points from three sources:
- First control of a building
- Ongoing occupation of a building
- Supply and item crates
They do not list direct points for defeating players. Until live scoring proves otherwise, you should fight only when the battle improves your objective score: taking a building, defending income, collecting a crate, or denying a leading opponent.
This makes Blizzard Brawl an objective-control event rather than a conventional kill-count event.
Building values
All four buildings become available when the Battle Phase begins. A squad must occupy a building continuously for 10 seconds to capture it.
| Building | First control | Ongoing income | Theoretical maximum* |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vault of Valor | 7,000 | 2,100 per minute | 26,600 |
| Forward Camp I | 2,000 | 600 per minute | 7,600 |
| Forward Camp II | 2,000 | 600 per minute | 7,600 |
| Forward Camp III | 2,000 | 600 per minute | 7,600 |
The theoretical maximum assumes capture at 0:10 and uninterrupted occupation until the 9:30 Battle Phase ends. Actual scoring may differ slightly because of server timing. It excludes crates and every period when control is contested.
What the numbers tell us
- The Vault earns 3.5 times as much as one camp.
- The Vault is worth more than all three camps combined: approximately 26,600 versus 22,800 points under uninterrupted control.
- First control is extremely important. The capture bonus at every building equals 3 minutes 20 seconds of its normal income.
- Losing the Vault for one minute costs 2,100 points. Do not abandon it for an unknown-value crate until live testing confirms the trade is worthwhile.
- All four buildings together offer a theoretical 49,400 points before crates.
The Vault is the best objective, but it is not automatically the best objective for you. If several stronger players are fighting over it, a camp plus consistent crate collection may produce a better final result.
Complete match timeline
The Battle Phase uses a predictable rhythm:
| Battle timer | What happens |
|---|---|
| 0:00 | All four buildings become capturable |
| 0:10 | Earliest possible first control |
| 0:30 | 3 supply caravans enter |
| 1:30 | 3 caravans + first item airdrop |
| 2:30 | 3 caravans |
| 3:30 | 3 caravans + item airdrop |
| 4:30 | 3 caravans |
| 5:30 | 3 caravans + item airdrop |
| 6:30 | 3 caravans |
| 7:30 | 3 caravans + item airdrop |
| 8:30 | Likely final usable caravan wave |
| 9:30 | Battle ends |
This indicates nine usable caravan waves, containing up to 27 caravans, and four clearly usable airdrops before the match ends. A possible spawn exactly at 9:30 still needs live verification.
The most demanding moments are 1:30, 3:30, 5:30, and 7:30 because a caravan wave and an airdrop happen simultaneously. Plan your marches before those timestamps instead of reacting after the crates appear.
Best strategy by your strength in the room
If you are one of the strongest players
Send your strongest defensive march toward the Vault and prepare a second march to reinforce or intercept challengers. Use remaining queues for caravans and nearby camps.
Holding the Vault is more valuable than spreading the same attention across all three camps. However, do not chase weak players across the map while your Vault income is exposed.
If you are in the middle of the room
Secure a nearby first-control bonus, then watch which players commit to the Vault. A Forward Camp captured immediately is worth 2,000 points before its ongoing income.
Avoid a long two-sided fight against a stronger Vault owner. Collect supplies, defend a camp, and attack when the Vault is weakened or temporarily unsupported.
If you are one of the weaker players
Mobility and timing are your win conditions. Avoid becoming an easy source of battlefield pressure for stronger Governors.
Take uncontested camps, collect caravan crates, use Smoke and Ice Bombs defensively, and force the strongest players to spend their time fighting one another. You do not need to win every battle to finish ahead on points.
How to use each airdrop item
Only one special squad can be deployed to retrieve airdrops at a time. The item is random, so the advantage comes from timing it correctly.
| Item | Effect | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Rocket Bomb | Severely injures 30,000 soldiers in an enemy Town or garrison | Hit a Vault garrison immediately before an assault |
| Ice Bomb | Prevents an enemy Town from deploying soldiers for 10 seconds | Block reinforcements during a capture or crate wave |
| Healing Elixir | Heals 30% of severely injured soldiers, up to 500,000 | Recover after a major engagement or before the final phase |
| Smoke Bomb | Makes your Town untargetable for 20 seconds | Survive concentrated pressure, heal, or extinguish fire |
Ice Bomb
Its 10-second duration matches the building capture requirement. Used at the right moment, it can prevent a Governor from sending new troops while you complete a capture. It does not recall or disable squads already on the field, and a recently bombed target cannot be selected again for 20 seconds.
Smoke Bomb
Smoke protects your Town from selection and attacks for 20 seconds, but the effect ends when you dispatch troops. Do not activate it and immediately send a march. Use the protected period to heal, extinguish fire, or wait for enemy pressure to move elsewhere.
Healing Elixir
Healing is especially valuable after opponents have committed multiple marches against you. Because normal battlefield healing is free and the infirmary is unlimited, the Elixir is mainly a tempo tool: it restores fighting capacity without requiring you to disengage for as long.
Rocket Bomb
The Rocket creates fixed pressure rather than permanent losses. Use it where those 30,000 injuries change control of an important objective. Randomly bombing a distant Town provides less value than weakening the Vault seconds before an attack.
Same-Gen or Cross-Gen?
For most players, Same-Gen Battles are the safer first choice. They match Governors from the same Hero Generation and remove one major progression difference.
Same-Gen does not necessarily equalize:
- Hero stars and Exclusive Gear
- Troop tier
- Research
- Governor Gear and Charms
- Pet or other account progression
- Number of unlocked march queues
Cross-Gen permits Governors from all Hero Generations. It may offer faster or more varied rooms, but lower-generation players risk facing substantially newer heroes. Unless the game reveals better rewards for Cross-Gen, use Same-Gen while learning the event.
March queue management
The number of usable queues is based on the marches you have unlocked. That makes additional queues a direct event advantage.
A practical structure is:
- One primary building march
- One defensive or interception march
- Flexible collectors for the three caravan routes
- A free queue for emergencies whenever possible
Do not dispatch everything just before a :30 wave. Four times per match, three caravans and an airdrop arrive together.
Troop safety and battlefield rules
Blizzard Brawl is designed for aggressive play without permanent economic damage:
- Infirmary capacity is unlimited during the battle.
- Healing does not consume resources.
- First Aid Kits can restore wounded soldiers.
- All soldiers are automatically healed after leaving.
- Defeating another Governor does not plunder resources.
- Towns burn faster, and an unextinguished Town can be randomly teleported.
- Leaving early prevents you from rejoining that match.
- King and High King Titles, King Skills, Flamedragon Tyrant Titles, and Alliance Territory bonuses do not work on the battlefield.
Injuries still matter during the match because they reduce your available fighting strength. Free recovery does not make a bad engagement strategically free.
How to use your six matches
Entering a battlefield consumes one of your six season attempts. Do not use a match only to inspect the interface.
For the first match:
- Select Same-Gen
- Record the points from one supply crate and one airdrop crate
- Check whether fights produce any direct score
- Observe whether a garrison must remain inside a controlled building
- Confirm the final usable caravan and airdrop times
- Save your result screen or record the match
Once those values are known, the strategy can be optimized mathematically instead of relying on assumptions.
Frequently asked questions
How long is a Blizzard Brawl match?
Each match lasts 10 minutes: a 30-second Preparation Phase followed by a 9-minute-30-second Battle Phase.
How many players enter each match?
Ten Governors enter a free-for-all room. The battlefield opens once all ten have joined and readied up.
How many Blizzard Brawl matches can I play?
Each Governor can enter up to six matches per season. An attempt is consumed after successfully entering the battlefield through matchmaking.
Are troops permanently lost?
The rules provide unlimited infirmary capacity, resource-free healing, and automatic healing when leaving the battlefield. Injuries can still weaken you during the active match.
Do King titles and alliance bonuses work?
No. King and High King Titles, King Skills, Flamedragon Tyrant Titles, and Alliance Territory bonuses are disabled inside Blizzard Brawl.
Final recommendation
Win the scoreboard, not the fight count. Capture early, protect reliable income, and organize every decision around the predictable :30 objective waves. The Vault is the strongest building, but an uncontested camp and disciplined crate collection can outperform an expensive battle you cannot hold.
This guide will be updated after live matches confirm crate values and any scoring rules not disclosed in the event description.
